Be sure to check the instructions
on your blender before crushing
ice. You may want to try using
restaurant-style ice for blended
drinks- it's easier on the blender
and gives the drink a nice "slushy"
texture.
Dissolve the sugar in a few drops of water, in an old-fashioned glass. Almost fill the glass with crushed ice, add the bourbon and stir well. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
